About This Fabric
Raw silk and cotton, dyed in indigo. The silk keeps its sericin — the silkworm's own protective gum — which guards the fiber and extends the life of the cloth. New, the fabric has a subtle crispness that softens with every wash into a supple, lived-in drape.

Our indigo is alive. It may bleed at first, and no two pieces are ever quite alike. Shifts in depth and tone are not flaws, but the signature of the hand-dyed. Like fine raw denim, the color will mellow and grow more beautiful with wear.

About This Fit
A split back yoke and classic box pleats at the shoulder blades add ease of movement, letting the shirt move naturally with the shoulders and arms rather than pulling or binding.

Care
Wash gently and separately in cool water with mild soap. A faint natural scent fades with the first few washes. Each wash brings softness; each wear brings character.
