About This Fabric
Raw silk and cotton, dyed in natural dyes. Without chemical processing, the silk keeps its sericin — the silkworm's own protective gum — which guards the fiber and extends the life of the cloth. New, the fabric has a subtle crispness that softens with every wash into a supple, lived-in drape. Soft and buttery against the skin, light enough to breathe with you all day.

Our plant dyes are alive. It may bleed at first, and no two pieces are ever quite alike. Shifts in depth and tone are not flaws but the signature of the hand-dyed. Like fine raw denim, the color will mellow and grow more beautiful with wear.
